Most Community Classes are limited to 8 Students. Registration & Payment will reserve your spot in class and is on a first come, first serve basis.

 

Landscape Painting


 Beginning Landscape Oil Painting is intended for those who may be intimidated by painting outdoors, and who want to learn the basics from the ground up; including preparing for the field sketch, materials, painting procedures, composition, values, focal point, studio workflow, etc.

CAA's Landscape class will combine painting on location plein-air, with studio time analyzing, enlarging, and completing studio paintings. Students will be taught how the human eye interprets information, how to simplify that information, and how to get it down on the canvas.
